Sieve attachment with 3 different mesh sizes for KoMo grain mills. It doesn’t have to be whole grain every day! Fresh flour that has been finely sieved and freed of bran is more sticky and better suited to some pastries. The attachment for sieving the freshly ground grain can be attached to all KoMo mills in just a few easy steps. You can see how easy it is in our video . The sieved material is filled into the Plexiglas funnel and falls out of the spout as finely sieved flour. Sieve inserts are included in mesh sizes of 0.63 mm (fine), 0.80 mm (medium) and 1.20 mm (coarse). 

All types of grain can be sieved, from spelt to rice to corn – not suitable for oilseeds and nuts. Even if you sieve out some of the fiber with the bran – the vitamins and healthy fatty acids are of course still retained. 

Attention: The sieve attachment is only suitable for KoMo grain mills built in 2013 and newer! If you have an older mill, it can be retrofitted with our specially made adapter ring for the sieve attachment .

Tip: Use the sieved bran for your muesli or next bread – why waste valuable nutrients and fiber? It does not need to be whole meal flour every day. Finely sifted flour, free of bran, is more adhesive and better suited for some pastries and what is sifted out can be used in your muesli or other pastries.
