How to oil correctly:
FRESHMAKER care wax oil reduces absorbency and strengthens the wood surface. Apply the oil to the wood with the cotton rag until the surface is saturated. Approx. 15-20 minutes after application, remove the oil that has not penetrated with the cotton cloth. Allow the surface to dry for 3 hours. Put a few drops of oil on the cotton cloth and polish the oiled area again. Now it only needs a few days of gentle treatment to harden well. ATTENTION: Wash the oily cotton cloth with soap or spread it out to dry! Danger of self-ignition!

• Dirt, water stains, etc.:
Clean the surface with water and vegetable oil soap, wipe with clear water and allow to dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of FRESHMAKER Care Wax Oil with a cotton cloth. Polish again after about 30 minutes.

• Stubborn stains:
After thorough cleaning with soap, allow the wood to dry well. Using the enclosed abrasive fleece, rub off the stain over a large area in the direction of the fibers and re-oil. Treat this area gently for about 14 days and only clean with clear water if absolutely necessary.

• Notches, scratches, dents:
Sand the surface of the device with the abrasive fleece. Drip water directly onto the notch and steam out with a wet cloth and iron. Repeat the process several times. The wood will expand and the notch will shrink or close. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly for at least 48 hours. If there is any bulging, sand it down with the abrasive fleece or sandpaper and oil it again.

CAUTION: Danger of self-ignition
Pure vegetable oils dry through oxidation, ie through the absorption of oxygen. This creates heat. After use, hang up a large area of ​​cotton cloths soaked in care wax oil and leave to dry, store in a closed tin can or wash with soap. Otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition! This only affects the cotton rags, not the wood surface.
